DNK’s day-to-day business is led by an elected team of spokespersons, which decides on urgent matters and sends people to international seminars and conferences. The four-person team represents the three pillars of DNK, to combine as many interests as possible.
Benjamin Folkman is rooted in the German Sports Youth, where he is active on the voluntary board since 2000 for the German soccer youth. His fields of work are the international youth work in sports (as well as general coordination, especially bilateral relations with Japan and Turkey and development cooperation MDGs) and anti-racism projects.
He is 31 years old and from Cologne. Since January 2008 he has been actively working with DNK (since July the 2008 vice spokesperson).
Inga Groth is a member of the federal board of the Junge Union and was elected deputy speaker of DNK in December 2011.
Jan Lichtwitz is a board member of the national board of the Young Socialists with the focus on the field of international issues and particularly the Middle East. Since December 2011 he is deputy speaker of the DNK.
